The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
